Topical problems of nonlinear wave physics

albert   |  events   |   22/07/2017

This meeting is a continuation of the previous symposia "Topical Problems of Nonlinear Wave Physics-2003, 2005, 2008, 2014" that attracted leading experts from around the world. More info.

The upcoming Symposium will be devoted to recent progress in the interrelated fields of the physics of nonlinear waves with applications to systems of different origin.

The Symposium will include three parallel Topical Conferences:

  • NWP-1: Nonlinear Dynamics and Complexity
  • NWP-2: Lasers with High Peak and High Average Power
  • NWP-3: Nonlinear Phenomena in the Atmosphere and Ocean

and two Workshops:

  • Magnetic Fields in Laboratory High Energy Density Plasmas (LaB)
  • Key technological issues in construction and exploitation of 100 PW class lasers

Each Conference will feature oral (invited and contributed) talks and poster sessions. Besides, some plenary lectures on interrelated topics are planned. Oral and poster presentations will be selected by the Program Committee Members by results of the considered submissions. Further details on the program will be given in the Call for Papers.

ESCUELA INTERNACIONAL DE VERANO: Tendencias en Analytics: Ciencia de Redes. Bogota, Colombia

albert   |  events   |   27/06/2017

More info.

Crossroads in Complex Systems

Albert Diaz Guilera   |  events   |   05/06/2017

The conference Crossroads in Complex Systems, will take place at IFISC, Mallorca (Spain), 5-8 June 2017, on occasion of the 10th anniversary of IFISC (Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems, UIB-CSIC) .
Thematic keynote, invited and contributed talks, a poster session, round-table discussions and a public event will contribute to a rich program. The conference aims to represent a broad spectrum of topics on Complex Systems as wide, at least, as the IFISC range of research lines.

COMPLENET'17 - 8TH CONFERENCE ON COMPLEX NETWORKS

Albert Diaz Guilera   |  projects   |   21/03/2017

The 8th International Conference on Complex Networks (CompleNet 2017) aims at bringing together researchers working on areas related to complex networks. In the past two decades scientific research has witnessed a  remarkable increase on studies in this field. Applied to problems that span from biology to computer sciences, from economics to social sciences, complex networks are becoming increasingly pervasive in many fields of science.  It is this interdisciplinary nature of the complex networks approach that the workshop is addressing.

PERSPECTIVES IN NONLINEAR DYNAMICS 2016

Albert Diaz Guilera   |  events   |   25/07/2016

We invite you to join us at Perspectives in Nonlinear Dynamics 2016 (PNLD 2016), a major international conference with a long-standing tradition in nonlinear dynamics. This event will be co-hosted by the Humboldt-University Berlin, in Berlin Germany. The Conference will start in the evening of Sunday 24th July and will end in the afternoon of Friday 29th July 2016.

The meeting highlights nonlinear science research and intends to provide a platform in which new theoretical insights and tools can be discussed, and their application to a wide range of phenomena can be presented. The scientific program for the earlier meetings consisted of invited and submitted talks, as well as posters, and typically attracted over 100 participants from diffenent countries and many leading researchers in the field. The current edition will also follow the same format, viz. invited and contributed presentations, both oral and poster.

We look forward to an exciting programme and to welcome you in Berlin!
